Within the confines of dance and theatre, the new investigation by Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté targets the toxic intrigues affecting our societies. In a scientific setting, five experts develop behavioural tests for which they are the guinea pigs. Gradually, the machine runs riot and goes out of control. Gestures are dislocated, distorted and provoke both laughter and dread, for we are witnessing the spectacle of a humanity whose minimal democratic values are wiped out by uncontrolled dominant cynicism. Here, the grotesque is a decoder language of truth and we leave the show with the conviction that living art helps the world breathe.
