Marianne Pousseur and Enrico Bagnoli work brilliantly to explore an innovative, experimental and contemporary theatrical language. Their research is built around three amazing monologues written by the Greek poet Yannis Ritsos.

When Achilles dies, Ajax brings the corpse of the Greek hero into his camp and thinks he will rightly inherit the deceased man’s weapons, but they are given to Ulysses. Insane with rage, Ajax attempts to murder Ulysses and all his companions, but deceived by the goddess Athena, he instead massacres a troop of sheep. When he regains his senses, the humiliation is overwhelming.
