Alchimie – CANCELLED

Romain Bertet {Toulon}
1/02/2022
  • Duur: 60'
  • Location : Salle de l’Œil vert

We are forced to cancel the ALCHIMIE performance scheduled in Liège this week. Indeed, one performer have been tested positive for Covid. The show will therefore not be performed. The box office will contact all ticket holders as soon as possible to arrange exchanges and refunds.

Romain Bertet and Marie-Laure Caradec immerse us in the imaginary incandescence of bodies and the fervour of desires. A multitude of lit candles on the stage immediately connects the duo with fire. Through their face-to-face interactions and their brushes with the flames, the two dancers surrender themselves to an experience of speaking through movement, of transforming effort into fervour, of one body melting into the other. The pair is in constant motion, their bodies in an eternal state of becoming, ready to make love or fight one last time. The couple, who resonate and clash with each other in equal measure, who support each other as often as they flee, experiences each other, merging genres and setting themselves ablaze until they have each consumed everything that makes them alive: their dreams, their anger, their hopes, their beliefs and more. Until nothing remains. Nothing but a pile of ashes.
