Autóctonos II

Ayelen Parolin
21/11/2018 24/11/2018
  • Duur: 45min
  • Location : Salle de l’Œil vert

The dancer and choreographer Ayelen Parolin describes her new creation as a quintet of four dancers and one musician. Autóctonos II is, in fact, indissociable from the musical performance produced live by Lea Petra, who produces a range of disconcerting sounds and rhythms using her piano. The piece questions the place of the group in our society of endurance, indifference and productivity. The circle, an affirmation of stability, order and uniformity, constitutes the starting point for the choreographic writing which, at first sight, appears abstract and “mathematical”. But it is to better experience, subsequently, the group’s warlike force and to exude the cracks of the system and the human frailties of each.
