  • Duur: 2h30
  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

The Portuguese author Tiago Rodrigues directs eight flamboyant actors who tell the story of a family who kills fascists. For seventy years, this ‘tradition’ has been observed, without exception, by every member of the clan. Today, the family is gathered in a countryside house near the village of Baleizão, in the south of Portugal. Catarina, the youngest member of the family, must shoot her first fascist, who has been kidnapped for this purpose. While everyone is sleeping soundly, another Catarina appears in the house. A young peasant who actually existed and was shot in Baleizão during the fascist dictatorship in 1954, Catarina Eufémia comes out of limbo to talk to the fascist in 2020, as he awaits his fate…
