Figures, figures, figures

A collection of people: motionless bodies and bodies in motion. You, me, him, her, they, them, we and us: bodies. Measured, squared, dismantled and deciphered bodies. Before photography was invented, drawings were used to study and teach about the human body. My project for the Théâtre de Liège is interested in these practices, which created images of the body and captured the body in lines and over time. When brought together, juxtaposed and confronted, they will clash on a wide strip of printed fabric.
