Fin de l’Europe

  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

Argentinian author and producer Rafael Spregelburd offers us a montage made of three fraction and independent plays: Esquisses choisies pour la fin de l’Europe, Esquisses écartées pour la fin de l’Europe and La fin de l’Europe. “L’Europe”, here, is the name of a disgraced show as much because of the lack of imaginations of its authors as because of the lack of desire of its interpreters or because of a simple financial decision from its producers. A legion of “angels” are busy with saving l’Europe and trying to show how apocalyptic discourse – from the Bible to neoliberal politics – exploits terror to serve the dominating interests.
