Gone in a heartbeat

Louise Vanneste
5/02/2016
  • Duur: 55'
  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

The young choreographer from Brussels Louise Vanneste, who is now working at Charleroi Danses and is a partner at the Halles in Schaerbeek, creates meticulous choreographies building an environment through space, time, sound, aesthetics and energy. She is working on four feminine solos existing in one unique space full of light and surrounded by the audience. The scenography creates a kind of very rare communion between the dancers, swinging from individual moves to a concert-like crowd motion. They reveal simultaneously solitary or collective figures through the non-relation, the non-encounter, the juxtaposition or the accident in the coexistence on stage. Polyrhythmic music weaves subtle connections without any hierarchy, drawing a magnetic constellation and giving a very unique perceptual experience to the audience.
