DANCE

A major figure in contemporary dance, Bruno Beltrão develops a rigorous and jubilant choreographic language, focusing on questioning and enriching the codes of street dance. Inoah (“tall grass” in the Tupi language of the Indians of Brazil) uses the name of the town located in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro where he performed with his company Grupo de Rua. Against the backdrop of the disturbing political context of their country, ten young Métis men present a fascinating choreographic composition.
