In their previous creation together, 14 juillet, Fabrice Adde, directed by Olivier Lopez, portrayed a struggling actor, a sad clown, who turned failure and inadequacy into an incredible creative force — the best way to achieve grace and laughter.
Now joined by Valentine Gerard, they continue to explore human flaws and weaknesses through the portrait of two parents thrown onto the stage in the middle of their lives, reunited by what they love doing together: transforming life through play.

With the presence of the audience, their disagreements erupt, pretenses crumble, and the show inevitably capsizes.
Wrapped in their naked truths, our two Liège natives are forced to explain themselves…
Together, they search for a way out, we laugh at the mirror they hold up to us, and we are left amazed by the strength that binds them, beyond their irreconcilable differences.

They aimed to create a powerful, modern, and committed show.
But our contemporary artisans are unstable, sensitive, deeply unsuited, rebellious, and sincere.
They carry their art within them, they need to play, to have fun, and cannot confine themselves within the limits of any form.

Through a narrative blending fiction and reality, I Love You Beyond Yourself explores, with humor and emotion, the complexity of couplehood, theater, and artistic creation, constantly invoking pleasure and joy as a cheeky retort to dullness.
