Jérôme Bel

Jérôme Bel / Ayelen Parolin
21/11/2023 22/11/2023
  • Duur: 1h30
  • Location : Salle de l’Œil vert

With this performance, which he describes as ‘autobio-choreographic’, Jérôme Bel reconstructs the genealogy of his shows – many of which have made a mark on the history of contemporary dance – through projected filmed archives.

The French dancer and choreographer is fully committed to the environmental transition and has dedicated himself to designing the Sustainable theatre? project. He is marking the second chapter of this with this self-titled piece, which travels on tour in the form of a digital script, which is interpreted by an artist connected to each partner theatre. The undefinable and unpredictable choreographer Ayelen Parolin – who has been closely watched by the Théâtre de Liège since her début – perpetuates the transmission of this archaeology of a lifetime of work, enriching it with her dazzling artistic perspective and her solar femininity.
