Jungle – Kim Sungyong

Jungle is a singular place — a space where body and vitality confront each other, respond to one another, and merge. But on stage, the jungle is far more than a set: it becomes an inner landscape, a metaphor for our own lives.

Built on the unique Process Init method developed by choreographer Kim Sungyong, the stage transforms into a space of listening and resonance, where dancers awaken their senses, express themselves freely, then observe and respond to one another, giving rise to a choreography that is constantly renewed — free, vibrant, and alive.

Jungle is more than a performance: it is an invitation to feel movement and stillness, tension and release, the visible and the invisible; to contemplate the motions on stage as they echo the weight and depth of our existence — heavier than we imagine, deeper than we can see.

Everything Falls Dramatic – Her Sungim

Everything Falls Dramatic asks a simple yet unsettling question: when things fall, do they disappear? Does falling mean dying? Between tranquillity and anxiety, certainty and uncertainty, appearance and disappearance, the piece explores what is invisible and intangible. Through dance, Her Sungim gives form to a universal experience: witnessing what surrounds us vanish, living through unexpected farewells, feeling the ephemeral pass through us. For death — the most devastating of human conditions — is not only an unwanted upheaval: it is inevitable, inescapable; and perhaps it paradoxically makes our lives more precious.

With her sensitive and powerful choreography, Her Sungim offers a meditation on vulnerability, resilience, solitude, and solidarity in the face of everything that disappears. A piece in which each movement reveals the beauty and fragility of existence, the tension between what is present and what is fading.
