La Gioia

Compagnia Pippo Delbono
19/10/2018 21/10/2018
  • Duur: 1h20
  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

A notorious figure in modern theatre, Pippo Delbono gives us La Gioia, an evocation of the fragility and transience of moments of joy. With a feverish vitality, he encourages us to overcome the fear and the transience of things. In staging where the floral compositions of Brussels native Thierry Boutemy form dream-like cascades on the spring stage, the joy is born in the serene approach of the finality, in the songs, the dance and the music, in the madness, in the lively love which links Pippo Delbono with Bobo, his old travelling companion, and with his troupe of actors dressed in costumes straight out of fairy tales.
