With La Grotte, Clément Papachristou creates and directs his first dramatic text. His play recounts the reunion between two sisters after years apart. These women are each searching for their past in their own way, for traces beyond themselves. One examines the depictions of our world drawn on the walls of a prehistoric cave, while the other frantically searches through the family cellar in search of buried memories. As a result, the viewer is plunged into the darkness of a cave and the dim light of a cellar, two places that are ideal for beginning an inner journey. Between a voyage through time and an escape into imagination, the two investigations will reveal a forgotten ancestor who is ready to shake up our relationship with others.
