La Ronde flamboyante was created during the Festival Émulation in 2021 and is directed by Olivier Lenel. It has since been reworked from top to bottom.

This fable has five characters, who are embodied by three actors, and is based on research that the author, Emmanuel De Candido, carried out in Sicily, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Réunion Island and Belgium. Borrowing from Anglo-Saxon psychological thrillers, in particular Le Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler, the economist Jacques Attali and the Congolese art of storytelling, this tale of emancipation is heading towards a happy ending, unlike the gloom that capitalist ideology tries to impose.
