Les Lois

Christina Ouzounidis / Brune Bazin

  • Location : Cité Miroir

Brune Bazin stages Les Lois by Greek-Swedish artist Christina Ouzounidis in French for the first time. This reworking of the myth of Iphigenia takes aim at fathers, authority figures and strikes out at the theatrical tradition, from tragedy to political theatre, not to mention Stanislavski. A dash of humour raises the question of evil, its roots, whether it can be ended, in a manner in which everything takes place in the background, unspoken.
