  • Duur: 2h
  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

In 1938, in order to fill his coffers and regain prestige, the avant-garde poet Jean Cocteau converted to the popular theatre, the tricks and stars of which seemed able to capture the audience that he dreamed of taking to the theatre. Through the vices and alienations of a bourgeois family, Cocteau paints a terrible portrait of the ravages caused by the universal feeling that is love. Surrounded by the phenomenal actors Muriel Mayette-Holtz, Maria de Medeiros and Charles Berling, among others, the fiery Christophe Perton creates, with diabolical mastery, an adaptation that pulsates with formidable comic energy, while searching for the place where the author’s self-portrait starts and ends.
