Emma, who dreamed of a passion like those in the books she loves, finds herself married to a an insipid rural doctor devoid of any ambition. She overcomes boredom with two lovers and extravagances, but financial troubles and male cowardice will get the better of her fantasy, and her life. A remarkable sound arrangement supports the stylish dexterity of Marie Delhaye and her poetry hemmed with fleeting, righteous and pleasing discoveries. Flaubert is here!
