Man anam ke rostam bovad pahlavan

Ali Moini
13/11/2018
  • Duur: 55min
  • Location : Salle de l’Œil vert

Connected by a network of ropes to a human-sized puppet, Iranian Ali Moini holds a troubling dialogue with said puppet where it is a question of will, violence, anger, affection, loyalty and acceptance. Handled with mind-blowing dexterity, this machinery generates the similarity between the movements of the artist and those of his artefact, encouraging us to doubt who is driving the movement and who is following it, who is in control and who is obeying, who is the subject and who is the object. Impressive!
