After having ignited the summer evenings at the abbey in Villers-la-Ville, Thierry Debroux and his spectacular staging of the heroic comedy Cyrano de Bergerac comes to Théâtre de Liège. Dating back to the 19th century, this work in verse by Edmond Rostand has delighted all generations for more than one hundred and twenty years. An ardent polemist, an avant-garde philosophist, an intrepid man-at-arms, but an innocent lover, Cyrano is in love with his cousin Roxane but does not dare declare this. On her part, Roxane loves Christian de Neuvillette. Our heroes embark on an adventure that delights and anguishes.
