CREATION

Lara Persain and Catherine Wilkin, adventurous and committed actresses, founded Compagnie Paulette Godart within which they develop theatre pieces within the confines of living arts and social issues. In a personal piece, they explore the place of the Human Being in modern society while tracking the contradictions at work in the notion of adaptation, as well as the reasons for marginalisation and isolation. Fiction inspired by various facts and an in-depth interview, the show traces the decisive encounter between two beings on the line. Halfway between Depardon and Lynch, Où est Alice ? is a a social and surrealist thriller with some humour. A questioning of the world’s hidden face to, perhaps, come out of eternity…
