Michèle Noiret
7/02/2016
  • Duur: 45'
  • Location : Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège

When she was 16, Michèle Noiret attended the école Mudra, founded by Maurice Béjart, met Karlheinz Stockhausen, a pioneer of electronic music, and she has become her virtuoso. When it was created in 1997, Solo Stockhausen arose from the will to express on stage the composer’s influence on the soloist’s choreographic writing. Following the score of Tierkreis which tackles the signs of the zodiac, Michèle Noiret dances freely on the maestro’s fantasy. Today, she works once again on Solo Stockhausen going back naturally to living art. The music and her talent as a dancer create this suspended moment in the wonderful room in the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. For the first time in Belgium, Michèle Noiret dances on six star signs which are interpreted live by musicians. The other six signs are only musical. Let there be sublime!
