  • Duur: Durée inconnue, spectacle en création
  • Location : Salle de l’Œil vert

After the stage reading of his novel, Lettres à Nour, on our stage last season, Rachid Benzine comes back with a text called Pour en finir avec la question musulmane. A Parisian building, stairs, doors, secrets and a small world of tenants that will be suddenly thrust in to the world of confusion and emotion one morning: one of the inhabitants has been put under house arrest. Between a supporter of the Front National, a caretaker who is the son of Jewish immigrants, a famous islamologist, a communist trade unionist, a homosexual feminist sociologist and a middle-class woman who has converted to Islam, tongues are loosened, let free in a sort of catharsis where humour that is both light and caustic is never far. An incredibly rich “sample” of humanity to give Rachid Benzine the chance to highlight our fears and all the clichés that go about in our society, and to dismantle them.
