Raimund Hoghe
18/03/2016
  • Location : Theater aan het Vrijthof, Maastricht

In this nostalgic creation, the German choreographer and Pina Bausch’s former playwright Raimund Hoghe celebrates reduction and ritualization. His dancers carry his research through the private and cultural memory. Quartet detects the effects of dancing, sound and singing in the body and the soul. The musical beauty, from Schubert to Dalida, is intoxicating and the dance is exquisite. It is a precious combination of precision and simplicity.
