Quiet – CANCELED

Arkadi Zaides { Tel Aviv / Lyon }
25/01/2022
  • Duur: 60'
  • Location : Cité Miroir

Quiet brings together a fiercely masculine quartet that showcases a complex emotional landscape in which aggression, compassion, confusion and desire create an intense dynamic. The four performers are Jewish and Arab. Communities that reside within Israel’s shifting borders are constantly subjected to shocks that destroy any space dedicated to reflection and, as a result, change. In light of this escalating violence, Arkadi Zaides seeks to foster communication. A player on the international contemporary dance scene, the choreographer designs a piece that acts as a safe space, a place where it is possible to exorcise demons, expose all the layers of the conflict and seek a broader perspective where confidence is established gradually – a quiet place.
