Último Helecho
Nina Laisné, François Chaignaud, Nadia Larcher
- Duur: 70'
- Location : Salle de la Grande Main
France
Amid a mineral landscape, bodies infused with the spirit of the Sibyls – the ancient prophetesses – awaken to the sound of sackbuts (the ancestor of the trombone) and gradually transform, guided by the breath of the bandoneon (a relative of the accordion). Together, they conjure a sensuous, vivid and mysterious phantasmagoria. South American dances and melodies emerge, intertwining ever more tightly with the remnants of a vanished world.
Born from the encounter between Nina Laisné and François Chaignaud, joined by Argentine singer Nadia Larcher and six musicians rooted in both early and popular traditions, Último Helecho revives forgotten repertoires and reveals the poetic, resistant power of folk heritage. A living descent into the depths, where bodies bring back to the surface long-buried voices, dances and memories.
