Un Macbeth

Almost twenty years ago, the director Guy Theunissen worked with artists from sub-Saharan Africa. For A Macbeth, he brings together dancers and musicians with different religions, cultures, skin colours and history and will give meaning to this founding work based on power. The Macbeth couple will be mixed. Could this image of the North and the South coming together in the most intimate and most perverse relationship not be the metaphor, the universal mirror of the disordered world?
