Director of stage and screen Claude Schmitz continues his artistic and human adventure with a group of actors from diverse backgrounds. Film and theatre come together to create a fable about the burlesque wanderings of three actresses, offering both a portrait of those he directs and an interrogation of what they do. It is summertime and Lucie is spending the holidays with her daughter. Languidness gives way to reverie. Dreaming about her career as an actress, the young woman imagines herself roaming on horseback in armour. She loses her mount and meets two horsewomen, Hélène and Judith, who are lost in the same dream as her.
