On a fundamental level, human beings can be influenced. They are conformist and subordinate to the group, to dominant thought and codes of behaviour. This vast theme – passed through the mill of Maggy Jacot and Axel de Booseré’s mad poetic and festive creativity – invites us to a multi-faceted show with seven actors.
With refreshing energy and valiant hopefulness, the Pop-Up company encourages us to reconsider compromises that we may find anodyne, the cowardice that we succumb to, the head-in-the-sand behaviour that we believe to be without consequence, and the insignificance of veiling one’s intentions. A joyful brainstorming, where the imagination opens liberating doors!
