  • Duur: 70min
  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

Coproduction

Welcomed into a mentorship at the Théâtre de Liège (2018–2022), Ayelen Parolin, an Argentine-born choreographer and dancer based in Belgium, plunges nine dancers into the idea of enjoyment in its most extreme form, as an alternative to normative dogmas. The choreography of WEG is fun and rigorous, much like the music composed and played live by pianist Lea Petra, whose piano playing is disconcerting and intriguing. The nine paths to individualisation – such as that of kaleidoscopic polyphony – are based on multiple, unpredictable repertoires of movement and complex and uninhibited registers that reveal cracks and resources of people with generous hearts.  With the collaboration of  physician Pierre C. Dauby, Ayelen Parolin orchestrates these pathways based on a dynamic of group movements that she visits in her imagination. An impetuous human abundance that is sensitive and dressed up!
