Nicolas is paying for his shopping at a supermarket check-out. As he cannot find his loyalty card when asked for it, he is accosted by the guard. Filled with panic, he flees armed with a leek. Pursued by the police and under the spotlight of the media, he becomes public enemy number one in a matter of hours. This is the beginning of an absurd road movie, which paints a portrait of a society where permanent mediation focuses on the sensational and prevents the emergence of any thought. The Liegeois from the Collectif Mensuel take Zaï Zaï Zaï Zaï, the famous cartoon strip by Fabcaro, and juggle between theatre, photo novel, live music, cartoons and sound effects.
