DANCE

On the initiative of the BNP Paribas Foundation, the first European hackathon dedicated to dance and new technologies was organised in September 2018 by the Lyon dance biennial, Sadlers Wells in London and Théâtre de Liège. For 72 hours, over 60 dancers, choreographers, designers, developers, technicians and makers come together in the three cities to develop innovative projects as part of a co-creation project. In autumn 2019, the 3 winning projects are revealed to the public in Lyon, London and Liège as part of the IMPACT festival.
