Noir novels, from Simenon to Ellroy, as well as Sud-Ouest and Détective magazine, were all used as sources of inspiration by authors and actors Agnès Limbos and Pierre Sartenaer.

The tone of the story is set from the very beginning, with a woman lying in a fur jacket and only one shoe left. Seven mysterious young girls pass by. A man prowls. The manipulated objects are used to revoke, remember and recount. If humour is politeness in despair, the humour used here is so dark that it is goes beyond what is proper. A figurehead in the theatre of objects, Agnès Limbos tackles violence against women in a non-linear and bold manner, which seems inseparable from current events.
