Lucienne, a faithful wife, is courted by two men: Pontagnac, an incorrigible yet clumsy seducer, and Rédillon, a close friend of the couple.
But Lucienne proclaims loud and clear to anyone who will listen: she will not stray — that is, as long as her husband does the same…
So when an old flame ready to do anything to reignite their affair shows up unexpectedly, a fragile balance threatens to collapse.

Catastrophes, misunderstandings, and mistaken identities: nothing seems serious in Feydeau’s world.
Yet, all of humanity is laid bare, with its shame, miseries, and secrets spread across the stage.
As a ruthless observer, Feydeau unleashes, under the cover of night — when everyone lets down their guard — a gallery of ever more eccentric characters who, beneath their grotesque appearances, reveal a great deal about ourselves.

In an adaptation inspired by cabaret and drag performance — which were wildly popular in Paris at the time and dearly loved by Feydeau — Aurore Fattier peppers The Turkey with drag creatures and other delightful surprises, offering a wild and irreverent reading of the most punk author of the French repertoire.
