Le sourire des égarés

  • Duur: 60'
  • Location : Salle de l’Œil vert

As she logically follows up on her work exploring the body in a perpetual metamorphosis, the choreographer and performer Karine Ponties digs deep into unsuitability to reality in a sincere body. This work talks of those beings who, leaning on the unstable, have gotten their bodies accustomed to unbalance. Of the troubled, the erratic, the impulsive, the overworked, the obsessed, the outcast. Accidents have become an integral part of who they are. These catastrophic, raw, restless bodies wonderfully ask the question of what it is “to be in the world”. Le Sourire des égarés is a piece about hope, about the human capacity to overcome any obstacle. Survival instinct gives every human being their chance; resilience is always on the side of the living and offers them the chance to turn their flaws into a luminous and unaltered driving force.
