While her mother is involved with aerobics and the culinary arts, young Camille is stuck each day in a painful daily cycle full of vexations, traps and threats. As many bitter games that the school gang enjoys fomenting and complicating. Camille is surely a young girl who is special and too introverted, just as the adults around her see her, but who listens to her? Through straightforward dialogues from author Alex Lorette, the staging by Clément Thirion unravels the long thread that leads to the teenager’s suicide. We discover that violence sprouts as much in aggression as an kindness and that an individual’s characteristics are not inoffensive. Does the origin of the “scapegoat” phenomenon come from the group or the exclusion of the group? A biting autopsy of cruelty where dark humour crackles.
