With the arrival of robots, humanity suddenly dreamed of a lighter world, where laborious work would be a thing of the past. However, over the years, with the complicity of wild capitalism that uses them as tools for wealth accumulation to the detriment of everyone’s interests, robots have become the primary providers of unemployment. Alongside a namesake installation in the Salle des Pieds légers, “On the Bird’s Day” uses robotic movements to create a mechanical opera marking the beginning of a long exploration journey around the utopia of coexistence between humans and machines.
