  • Location : Salle de la Grande Main

A leading dancer, Ousmane Sy, died three years ago. He was a world-leading reference in house dance, a choreographic style that appeared in the nightclubs of Chicago in 1980s and was characterised by fast, aerial leg movements.

The artist’s final creation, One Shot, is a continuation of Queen Blood, his previous opus, which we were able to enjoy two seasons ago. This piece, which takes flight through the confrontation of different styles, is performed by several dancers from the company, joined by others with a variety of styles. Alongside them, Sam One DJ mixes house music and afrobeat and drives the ultra-punchy rhythmic line of the figures in unison and inspired solos.
