From the depths of investigative theater emerges a show as sprawling as it is captivating.
Between reality and fiction, Françoise Bloch weaves a narrative that navigates between the intimate and the collective.

Far from conventional theater, Octopus 1+2&3 unfolds from a personal event, the starting point of an inquiry set within an intimate device in which Françoise Bloch welcomes the audience.
Octopus 1 (Traces) explores, through a news story, the connections between the intimate, the historical, and the political.
In Octopus 2 (Ghosts), the same event sparks a poetic reflection on the presence of the dead among the living, and our need for narratives, fiction, and representation.
Finally, in Octopus 3, the three actors engaged in the journey tackle an apparently naive question: can theater allow a dead person to answer the questions of the living?

The Octopus project draws its energy from a disappearance and probes an unspoken truth.
Both rigorous and playful, with a humility that invites reflection, Octopus 1+2 is structured as an illustrated solo lecture, while Octopus 3 proposes a collective exploration.
These forms build upon one another, embracing every digression.
