creation

This work, created by the collective UBIK, is in keeping with their amazing first show, Pourquoi Ève vient-elle chez Adam ce soir? that was shown to you in our theatre last season, asking the question: how should we interpret and translate the reality around us?

They explore the city and begin an urban expedition and a very high-level delegation. The story is told with projections, real facts and testimonies, with opposing points of views and fragments that were gathered by Diana, a surtitling machine which translates this adventurous odyssey in your day-to-day life thanks to a universal alphabet made of pictograms.

The fresh and ambitious Swedish company (which is half-Belgian !) combines its research with the Belgian author (born in France…) Marie Henry and the Polish photographer Beata Szparagowska (who was never a photographer in Poland…) and invites us to a relevant topical reflection in the heart of a changing Europe.
