CREATION
Scheduled in March 2019, a work in progress of Out of the dark, already engaged us in a more than documented reflection on the reality of migratory flows and the delicate funerary duty in particular. Film-makers Mary Jimenez and Bénédicte Liénard, shared with us the worthy beauty of their images, miles away from the sensational voyeurism of TV shows. This version includes the story of a shipwreck on the Tunisian coast, as well as the testimonies of the mothers of those who disappeared, with the voice of the soprano Noma Omran embracing the unspoken pain.
