This is the story of a scorching summer. This is the story of Blanche. On the streets, after losing her family homes, she stays with her sister, Stella, where she discovers the precarious living conditions and her husband. Stanley, this macho husband, proletarian, strange man brings about contempt and frustration in Blanche. Stanley tries to drive her away to protect pregnant Stella, he cruelly reveals the secrets of the family home. Blanche sinks into the lie to escape judgements with this madness being her last chance at another life.
