What does it mean to call yourself ‘white’? Why do we refer to people by their skin colour? Who decided to call Africa by that name? Based on a text by Cameroonian writer Léonora Miano, Stanislas Nordey directs three young Afro-European performers who disrupt and question our language and the colonial influences behind it. Thanks to its chorus of unique voices, Ce qu’il faut dire offers a bold, essential and poetic discourse through a spellbinding theatre experience.
