Adapted from the last chapter of Hubert Selby Jr’s first eponymous novel, Last Exit to Brooklyn, Coda depicts a 24-hour period in the warehouse area of Brooklyn. The work is a humanising breath as well as a portrait of the 1950s, between destinies crossing paths, unspeakable fantasies, and misery, Isabelle Pousseur invites us to live the humanity that comes from the interactions between five couples/families.
