What might an irresistible revolution be? An insatiable combination of hybrid movements? A display of inappropriate gestures? Perhaps a choreographic anarchy fuelled by the joy of being together? Or a utopia designed to unleash the body’s excesses? What if the irresistible revolution were all of these things at once?
In Irresistible Revolution, twelve dancers embark on an exhilarating journey where everything overflows: gestures, rhythms, emotions. Here, dance breaks free from conventions to become a wild, excessive, untameable celebration. Fueled by the energy of carnival and folk dances, Ayelen Parolin (Simple, ZONDER) crafts a choreographic anarchy where disorder becomes fertile ground. Styles collide and hybridise, and what might seem excessive transforms into an unsuspected force – like a new way of being together. Carried by immersive music, Irresistible Revolution creates a playground where reality and fiction blur: the performers follow their impulses, explore the unpredictable and forge connections in the joy and happiness of being together.
