RAVI, in collaboration with the Théâtre de Liège, presents an exhibition by Arnaud Eubelen, following the artist’s residency during the summer of 2025.
Arnaud Eubelen, born in 1991 in Liège, is a Belgian artist living in Brussels. His work bridges the gap between sculpture and design, questioning the processes that transform concepts into objects. He reappropriates and re-evaluates elements from our industrial environment, altering their use and context to reveal their intrinsic qualities and values.
By recalibrating and rewriting the urban context that surrounds us through different layers of materials, each bearing its own history and life, he views the streets of the artificial world in which we live as hardware stores or a ‘library of materials’, in his own words.
Through a sculptural process of breaking down and reassembling salvaged materials—fragments, waste, rubble and scrap—he highlights the chaotic energy and entropy of the urban transformations that surround us. These objects retain the potential for use— —but remain, above all, ephemeral states: frozen moments, held together by a few nuts, before their inevitable dissolution.
