Aurore Fattier offers us Bug, adapted for cinema, that we owe to American scriptwriter Tracy Letts’ vertiginous quill. Agnès, waitress in a bar at night, lives alone and hides from her violent ex-husband. After meeting Peter, a mysterious soldier on the run, a fragile and worried love is born. But this romance is absorbed by Peter’s paranoia, convinced of being the victim of scientific experiments for the army who would have inoculated him with insects under his skin to control him. Great actors show the mechanisms of psychic destruction, delirium, the conspiracy theory, psychological control and our relation to love. A dark, poisonous and contagious comedy.
