The story of Irina Lucidi is unfortunately famous in Italy. One day, this woman’s two six-year-old twin daughters are taken from her. The person responsible for this kidnapping is none other than her ex-husband, who, resenting the divorce, does away with the girls before killing himself. With courage as her only weapon, this childless mother confides in the journalist Concita De Gregorio. From this dialogue emerges a dense and delicate novel. With remarkable and subtle elegance, the director Giorgio Barberio Corsetti and the breathtaking actress Gaia Saitta transpose these dramatic events to the stage.
