The exhibitions are open Tuesday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm, on Saturdays when there are performances from 2pm to 6pm, and on the evenings before each performance.

For the first time, the Province of Liège Foundation for Art and Culture is joining forces with the Théâtre et la Société Libre d’Emulation to present the work of Liège-based visual artist Sophie Legros.

The Foundation – established by the artist couple Guy Vandeloise and Juliette Rousseff and the Province of Liège – aims to collect donations from artists or unclaimed collections, as well as to promote creation and artists whose artistic practice is linked to the quest for and construction of the self (psychological, somatic, philosophical) in resonance with the world.

Occupying both the Salle des Pieds légers and the Maison Renaissance de l’Émulation, Sophie Legros will work with architectural spaces of different yet complementary natures, exploring the symbolism of the visual poem that will take shape, and searching within the labyrinth of the work for a happy ending or a new meaning to life.
