A performance artist in new media, Byungjun Kwon explores sound through 3D audio recordings, integrating them into exhibition spaces blending music, theater, and visual arts. Recently, he has focused on the role of robots, both as companions and marginalized figures, in human society. This approach earned him the 2023 Korean Artist Prize.
